A NEW VIDEO SOLUTION TO PRODUCT RESEARCH
[edit]This para ( after editing ) may be a good external link on this wiki page
Expo TV is a new social shopping destination with thousands of consumer-generated reviews and product demonstrations all available in full-motion video. The site features thousands of Videopinion reviews - short, unbiased consumer-generated videos reviewing products that members love or hate. In addition to the Videopinion reviews contributed by our community, the site also provides consumers with informative ‘how to buy’ videos and product demonstration videos contributed by our advertising partners.

Using Wikipedia for commercial gain
[edit]Is it a comment on this business that DRTV companies are so stubbornly trying to turn this website into their own promotion? I'd hope that we can agree to follow Wikipedia rules. (I've heard a rumor from an ex-employee of one big brand DRTV agency that all IP addresses originating from that company have been disabled by Wikipedia. Let's get this under control.)
Maybe all Wikipedia areas are like this. But... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.11.112.161 (talk) 23:02, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
I'm sure they are. But DRTV companies have been pretty aggressive about this.
@72.11.112.161: It is unclear what exactly needs to be got under control. If you feel that the article is unduly weighted towards the way that DRTV is used in practice, then you would be most welcome to add a section on criticisms of DRTV. As for rumors, they don't really count on Wikipedia - reliable sources matter more. BronHiggs (talk) 20:31, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- Removing the linkfarm [1] is a good step.
- Following up with all the links to check for problematic editing related to them is another. --Ronz (talk) 18:59, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
- I looked over the first two from this page. Jwgreensheet is next. --Ronz (talk) 19:01, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
