Albums

[edit]

The albums section needs to be redone. The titles of the albums are directly next to The Billboard stuff that all being hyperlinks makes it very hard to discern, also, following wiki rules, you should hyperlink The Billboard article the first time, not all the time. Dionne Warwick's discography doesn't contain her participation of the "We Are The World"-project.

Where is the verifications to substantiate Dionne selling over 100 million records? This is not true. She did not sell all those records. This imput is bogus as it is probably some ribald fan given Editorial License.

Singles discography

[edit]

Artificially breaking up the singles discography so that the B-sides are located in a different section (and way out of chronological order) seems arbitrary, not to mention being an extremely awkward -- almost user-hostile -- way of compiling this information. Is this configuration following some sort of Wikipedia template? If not, I believe the singles discography should revert to a chronological format with charting B-sides listed alongside A-sides, and would be comfortable re-editing the work to accomplish this. 70.31.124.43 (talk) 17:39, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Number 1 song from 1968

[edit]

Dionne Warwick had a number 1 hit in 1968 called the Theme from Valley of the Dolls. Should be included in her discography. 58chevfan (talk) 17:58, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

More Info on Pickwick "The Dionne Warwick Collection"

[edit]

I may have some more info about the "The Dionne Warwick Collection" on Pickwick.

This is a two-record LP set. It was apparently made of two Dionne Warwick Pickwick labeled albums: "Alfie" and "Make It Easy On Yourself". From the LP jacket, I remember the artist's name being promenent. Maybe the words "The" and "Collection" were small or I have forgotten them. The year 1976 seems to be the right time period for the album I now have in my iTunes library, though the album jacket artwork is missing, just the default grey music note. Note: The version in my library is divided into two 9-track discs, so I may be a little off on where the Side 1 and 2 division is.

Track listing: "Alfie" Side 1 1. Alfie 2. Trains and Boats and Planes 3. (There's) Always Something There To Remind Me 4. Wishin' and Hopin' Side 2 1. Don't Make Me Over 2. Message To Michael 3. Wives and Lovers 4. Unchained Melody 5. People

"Make It Easy On Yourself" Side 1 1. Make It Easy On Yourself 2. (They Long To Be) Close To You 3. The Look Of Love 4. Blowin' In the Wind Side 2 1. Reach Out For Me 2. Walk On By 3. The Good Life (Live) 4. Anyone Who Had a Heart 5. As Long As He Needs Me
