Proposed deletion of Article Dimitris Christoulas of French Wikipedia
[edit]Hello,
I was very struck by the tragic death of Dimitris Christoulas last year. Recently, I discovered that there was an article about him in several Wikipedia: English, Greek, Spanish, Basque and Occitan. I then created Dimitris Christoulas article in the French Wikipedia: It has been proposed to deletion the grounds that it would not be encyclopedic and worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia. If you wish to review and vote on the talk page deletion, here: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion:Dimitris_Christoulas/Suppression Thank you for giving your opinion.
Cordially.

[edit]"Can’t pay, won’t pay," was the name of a protest group Christoulas had joined. It was therefore no precise description of his individual situation. His daughter stated he had paid all bills (WP:NOR).
Neither NYT nor UPI wrote that austerity measures had slashed the pension of Mr. Christoulas so that he had difficulty paying for his medications (WP:NOR).
The report of UPI did not try to check anything that Dimitris Christoulas or a mourner had written or said. So the UPI report is not significant for the biography. More profound research has been published since showing his social activities and might be added instead (WP:NPOV).
The report of NYT is significant and provides alternative views: NYT reported news of local media concerning financial problems as well as contradiction of neighbors. (WP:NPOV)
