Hello, I am Carbrera, and I'll be reviewing this article for possible good article submission. This article looks like a particularly interesting read.

Full review coming very soon. Carbrera (talk) 03:44, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! Looking forward, --Another Believer (Talk) 01:38, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lead

[edit]
  • "It was established by Dayna McErlean, with additional conceptual development from Jeremy Larter, in 2014, replacing Leo's Non-Smoking Coffee Shop, a diner which had operated for thirty years." → "It was established by Dayna McErlean, with additional conceptual development from Jeremy Larter. The restaurant opened in 2014, replacing Leo's Non-Smoking Coffee Shop, a diner which had operated for thirty years."
  • Perhaps you could say why the restaurant closed? If known, of course...
    • Not really known. Willamette Week's Martin Cizmar attributed the diner's location and lack of nearby foot traffic as the reason for its closure, but I am not sure this is worth mentioning in the lead. Seems slightly speculative; perhaps worth mentioning in the article body but not the lead, since not definitive. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:40, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Shouldn't commas be placed around 'restaurateur and developer'?
  • Do you need a source for the sentence about The Dime Store's concept?

A very solid article! I just want the nominator to look over my comments before passing or failing it. I will put this article on hold for now. Thanks! Carbrera (talk) 21:51, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not at All Noteworthy

[edit]

A failed diner nobody talks about anymore is not noteworthy. It was open less than 1.5 years. This article is a wallow in details for some nostalgic fool or would-be marketer.--75.164.142.128 (talk) 01:25, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Diner

[edit]

@Doncram: I've reverted your edit. This source calls the restaurant a diner. ---Another Believer (Talk) 03:28, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
