Dear Sir/Ma'am according to the article about the movie Dil Bechara the release date was to be 8 May 2020 which is not adhering to the present time. Please make the suggested change. Thank you Bhramari Raju (talk) 10:49, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Danski454 (talk) 11:37, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Rakesh Krushna Joshi

Add Cast, Rakesh Krushna Joshi as Rakesh ( source :- IMDb ) Jayant Mahagate (talk) 18:22, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

@Jayant Mahagate:  Not done IMDb is not a reliable source per WP:RS/IMDB. Further, you seem to only be here to add this name to articles, which leads me to believe that you might have a conflict of interest, which you would need to declare. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:19, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

Do add that the film is the final appearance of the lead actor: "It features the last posthumous appearance from Rajput" or similar. I think it's certainly noteworthy in a film's article when its a starring member's final role. Ex: The Dark Knight, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Loev. 2.51.185.140 (talk) 19:41, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

Done SerChevalerie (talk) 07:34, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
I've removed it. Final appearances of performers/artists are generally not noted on film articles. We make exceptions if the impact of the performance is significant, i.e. wins awards/changes how the film is produced or marketed/etc. Ledger's death before The Dark Knight lead to "to intense attention from the press and movie-going public." Fisher was a notable recurring actor in the Star Wars franchise, and thus the film was dedicated in her memory, not to mention that had to alter the ending of the film. Loev was also dedicated to Ganesh. Please indicate why it should be included in the article. BOVINEBOY2008 23:42, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
Rajput's death was something that attracted intense attention from the Indian press and audiences (If pageviews are indicative of anything, #5 on Wikipedia:Top 25 Report/Records). For one, thanks to the sympathy wave generated, the trailer for this film became the most liked ever on YouTube. It also had a direct bearing on its release, with Disney+ offering the film for free to all subscribers and non-subscribers to honour his legacy. 2.51.185.140 (talk) 11:10, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
Done Right, the Disney+ decision makes it notable enough. I am restoring it. SerChevalerie (talk) 11:36, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Under Production Section:

While the film was initially titled Kizie Aur Manny, in February 2019 the title was officially changed to Dil Bechara. This was felt to be perfectly embody the theme and had been chosen from lyrics penned by Bhattacharya and composed by Rahman as one of the tracks in the film.

Change This was felt to be perfectly embody - This was felt to perfectly embody (remove "be") Another suggestion is to add a reference link for the "lyrics" word (mentioned in the same line). Reference URL which can be used is: [1]

Done, will add a better reliable source later (since there is already a decent one now). SerChevalerie (talk) 07:44, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

Genre of the film

@Cyphoidbomb: Looking at the original film, it says that it is a romantic tragedy so shouldn't it be the same for this film also or is it different. SP013 (talk) 17:46, 24 July 2020 (UTC)

SP013, can you find any WP:RS to support this? If not, let's wait for the reviews tomorrow. SerChevalerie (talk) 18:00, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
@SP013: One thing we want to avoid is genre bloat, i.e. when we just chain together a bunch of genres. Per MOS:FILM, we should be using the fewest descriptors possible, focussing on overall shape of the film, the primary genre, with a sub-genre if necessary. Already we have "coming-of-age romantic drama", which is getting a bit much. SerChevalerie's comment is valid, that we should be using reliable sources, and beyond that, we should use the description that is common between all of the sources. So for instance, if one calls it a romantic drama film, and another calls it a drama, and another calls it a tragedy, that doesn't mean we should chain together all of those descriptions. We would find the common element, in my example, drama, and use that. (Tragedy is drama, it is just a specific type of drama.) Any other elements, like about the romantic themes or whatever, could be described elsewhere. Genre is subjective, so nobody is ever going to be happy. That's why we rely on references. Edit request 25 July 2020

Hello, the end of the introduction reads “in lieu of the actors death [...]” the film was released. “In lieu of” means instead of, or in place of, which dies not make sense in this context. Perhaps the author meant “in light of,” which means “given the fact,” a common confusion. Would you please change “lieu” to “light”?—Rockero (talk) 13:22, 26 July 2020 (UTC)

Change Suresh Arora to Sukhesh Arora, the correct spelling of the actor who plays P Singh Epicurus202 (talk) 10:19, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Not done, please cite reliable sources for the same. I have added as many as I could find for the other members and removed those (including Arora) for which I couldn't find sources. SerChevalerie (talk) 11:01, 30 July 2020 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want made. Requests should generally be done in a "change X to Y" or "insert/remove X" format (see Wikipedia:Edit requests for advice). Ionmars10 (talk) 11:59, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

Taking the ownership to expand the page

It is been long... I agree I have appended the notice to improve/expand this page but I see a slight delay here. Hence, i am in process of drafting as of Saturday and may be tomorrow too.

I'll update the page in entirety. @Cyphoidbomb: I would like that you review once done.
