Sources and References
[edit]I added two references to this page, one of which is in portuguese (I apologize for using portuguese sources instead of english ones, but this one has no english version, and I've found none in english (yet?)).
Portugal Telecom and the three terrestrial providers founded a website on the transition, which has a news section[1] (in portuguese). This might be a good source for good references.
The ANACOM website has a section on DTT[2], with some FAQs and probably with technical information on the DTT.

- I've been adding references since I wrote the message above. At the moment, I know no source for two (groups of) statements:

When did simulcast begin? 2008 or 2009?
[edit]I'm removing the last part of the following sentence, since it does not match the lauch date I was able to source:
"The four existing analogue channels started simulcasting in DVB-T MPEG4[3] in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area since November 1, 2008."
As the article already states that TDT began on April 29, 2009, it makes no sense to leave it there. Maybe User:JDamanWP or someone else can source that date, or clarify it (maybe it was something other than the simulcast?).
