What is expensive?

[edit]

It's probably not a good idea to categorize something as "expensive" since this is a variable and subjective term. I saved up my paper route money to get a (analog, vacuum-tube) 'scope and RF generator and I think I paid over $150 for the pair - I would have thought $400 for a digital scope of any kind to be a bargain (and still think that's incredbly cheap), and anyone who actually makes a living using a 'scope would also probably consider $400 relatively cheap. Give the range of prices, let the reader do the estimation based on her own bank-balance. --Wtshymanski (talk) 14:25, 16 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
