Seven studios?
[edit]The DCI web site states only six:
"Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC (DCI) was created in March, 2002, and is a joint venture of Disney, Fox, Paramount, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal and Warner Bros. Studios."[1] Earthsound (talk) 20:01, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
DCI originally 7 studios, then 6, now 5
[edit]DCI started in March 2002 with seven majors: MGM, Paramount, Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Universal Studios, The Walt Disney Co. & Warner Bros. Then MGM withdrew in May 2005, leaving the other six studios. In March 2019, Fox withdrew from DCI as a consequence of its merger with Disney.
