proposal to change article subname
[edit]The current article name DieHard (type of battery) is clunky and not completely intuitive, at least as compared to other disambiguated article names. I'm sure it can be improved, but not sure what thought was put into the current name. Some suggestions:
- DieHard (battery): the disambiguation page Die hard has nothing close to this, and a deleted article search shows no evidence it was used.
- DieHard (brand): maybe a more technically correct description, but perhaps less intuitive to someone not sure what to search for.
- DieHard (battery brand): the best of both above
- DieHard (Sears): this is what I most closely associate after surviving decades of automotive battery advertisements. It seems technically no longer proper with the recent partnership with Kmart.
Suggestions, anyone? —EncMstr (talk) 20:15, 1 November 2011 (UTC)
- Agree with original idea: DieHard (battery). Succinct and accurate. Woodshed (talk) 01:53, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

No longer so exclusive
[edit]Baxter Auto Parts sells DieHard batteries, chargers, tools, and other DieHard branded merchandise. Since Baxter is not one of Advance, Carquest, or Sears, this exclusivity claim should be changed. It is possible that there are other DieHard sellers as well, especially since Sears is all but dead.
