@Scairp4: What was your rationale for this reversion? I can elaborate on any of the points in my edit summary. In particular, the entries in the Interviews, Videos, and External links sections are far in excess of what is recommended in the external links guideline. The interviews, videos and external links were included because they are relevant to, and provide more comprehenive information on Stainier's work. The editors did not say they were excessive when the article was submitted so I don't think they need to be removed (and they are also on his German wiki page).Scairp4 (talk) 19:27, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Other editors may not have focused on the issue, and guidelines for other language wikis may be different. From Important points to remember, "Links in the 'External links' section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links. Also, Wikipedia is not a mirror or a repository of links, images, or media files. And particularly for the videos, copyright may be a concern. My edits brought the article into compliance with these guidelines, as well as fixing a number of style issues such as birthdate and title formatting.
