Don't know how to work this - hopefully just on the talk page that someone else can determine worthiness
[edit]The part that says "Starting in 1982, Perez painted a yearly set of cards for the "Diamond Kings" series for the Donruss Trading Card Co. The paintings were of baseball's premier players. The paintings were in partnership with Frank and Peggy Steele. (The Perez-Steele Galleries)." - Donruss started in 1981 and introduced the Diamond Kings subset in 1982 (later an insert set) which he painted for them. Prior to Donruss though he did the Perez-Steele Gallery Postcard series which was first released in 1980 (separate from Donruss). He continued to produce these during the Donruss years. The postcards were serial # out of 10,000 and are incredibly popular among autograph collectors.
Some of these can now be purchased from the Hall of Fame. [1]
