As an editor has noted, there was a prior Afd. That Afd, which was proper closed a delete, related to a wholly different article, and preceded the GNG support that now exists and is reflected in this article. If anyone disagrees, bring this one to AfD. But I think that there are so many RS refs devoted to her now reflected that it clearly would pass AfD. --2603:7000:2143:8500:95F7:477A:7FA6:7EB5 (talk) 03:11, 13 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There are two male editors who keep trying to take out that she's a member of a mysterious organization, Progressive Women of NY, I've been trying to start an article about. Here is an article that vouches for its existence. Can an editor that doesn't hate women vouch for its inclusion, thanks--A21sauce (talk) 20:55, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred: Sorry to ping you. Given your knowledge of what transpired today, I wondered if you had advice re: how should this new section be handled? Thank you for having a look. Shoestringnomad (talk) 21:12, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As a regular at WP:BLPN, I would really like to see a non primary source before we consider including this. Black Winchester Magazine only mentions her having the support of PWNY and being proud of the endorsement, it doesn't mention her being a member AFAICT which means we only have that Instagram post. Even then, I'm not sure whether her being a member of a non notable organisation is significant enough for inclusion (i.e. WP:UNDUE). If editors feel the organisation is notable, they're free to create the article with appropriate sourcing. Nil Einne (talk) 18:53, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Nil Einne, as a heads up, the editor[s ?] who were trying to add this were blocked for EWing and personal attacks related to the inclusion/removal of this material, so I think the issue is resolved. I agree with all of your rationales and wish the blocked editor or/and IP had discussed it here per BRD rather than the mess that came from it. JesseRafe (talk) 19:09, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
