COI declaration: I would like to disclose here that I am the brother of the subject of this page. Please see the COI declaration on my user page.

Reason for edit request: This article about my sister was created by an unknown third party in 2014, and has apparently only been revised for administrative purposes since then. One piece of information (a book title) is inaccurate and needs to be corrected. Other information has become outdated and should be amended; and further verifiable information can usefully be added. All of the proposed changes have been agreed by the subject of the page, but none should impair the article’s neutral point of view.

Requested changes:

1. Lead section

1.1. Replace “She is a consultant” with “She has worked as a consultant”.

1.2. Replace “and Chair of the Committee” with “and was Chair of the Committee”.

1.3. Add a new final paragraph:

“She is a Vice-President of the Movement for the Abolition of War (MAW) and a Council Member of Rethinking Security.

2. Personal life This section carries an Expand section template, but until such (perhaps unlikely) time as someone publishes further information in print about the subject’s personal life, it is hard to see how any verifiable information could be added. But just to correct what is already there, in a hopefully non-controversial way:

2.1. Replace “and has two grandchildren” with “and has five grandchildren”, removing the reference link [3]. If this is too big a change to make without providing evidence from an independent source, please just delete “and has two grandchildren”, as this is no longer accurate.

3.1.1. In the third current item, please replace “From Peacebuilding to Pacification” with the correct title, “From Pacification to Peacebuilding”.

Hi @5litre: thanks for declaring your COI and making an edit request. After reviewing the article I do not believe this person meets Wikipedia's notability guidelines for a biography. I have submitted this article for deletion and you may read how to participate in the discussion here, then post your comments here. Please post below if you have any questions. I've been fixing up the article, but I'm not convinced the suggested changes are appropriate. See WP:NOTCV — a complete list of her publications can be on other sites, but here on Wikipedia we should only list the ones with documented significance. That can include full books with published reviews, and even though I can't find reviews of it I think the Swarthmore Lecture is significant enough. I corrected the one book's title. But Lessons from Kosovo/a appears to be a 20-page pamphlet with no reviews, so I don't see a good reason to add it, or the other articles. I also removed some of the other badly-sourced and not-very-relevant information. —David Eppstein (talk) 06:48, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Because of my COI I don't feel that I should participate in the discussion on the possible deletion of the entire article - but even no article at all would be better than the one which was outdated and inaccurate, so thanks for getting things moving.
