[edit]I've just heard that the term diamond dog originates with the Mesopotamian religion and that these "diamond dogs" were male prostitutes in the temple of Ishtar. Perhaps we could have an article or at least some mention of this on this disambiguation page? __meco (talk) 09:01, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
