This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because I believe Dia Simms is one of the youngest and most accomplished CEOs of a major successful company (Combs Enterprises). What's more is that she has been recognized for her abilities through various awards (listed) and is a mother of a child and an African-American who represents a very positive role model. Please reconsider speedily deleting this and acknowledge the importance of this person? How many other corporate CEOs have managed to reach this position - at this age (early 40s), and from a background that was devoid of any privilege? I'm happy to have a further conversation about this person's merits.
Adding this on to my initial post - regarding "Significant coverage", Dia Simms has been covered across a range of different news stories noted in the list of references. Many of these sources noted are reliable online websites and cover a range of years. Please note that if there are any works cited that are not "independent of the subject" then those particular sources (and facts ascertained from those questionable sources) can be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mangodebango (talk • contribs) 11:33, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
