Steve Vai and Steve's Special
Steve Vai HAS NOT used the Steve's Special. it's true that it was made after the Blaze Bridge, but he has not use it as a regular pickup. The Name comes after a Dimarzio Tech. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.120.195.209 (talk) 05:30, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
"stronger ceramic magnet"
[edit]I'm not sure what magnet would have a ceramic magnet characterized as stronger when compared to it but ceramic magnets are definitely weaker then the alnico magnets traditionally found in guitar pickups.

"First Aftermarket Pickup"?
[edit]This appears in the introductory paragraph: "DiMarzio became known for its Super Distortion model, which was the first after-market replacement guitar pickup." Is there any third-party source that corroborates this statement?

Not an article
[edit]A thumbnail corporate listing plus two lists DOES NOT an article make. It's nothing but a catalogue without pictures.
If either list is "notable," then it ought to be on its own List page. If it doesn't deserve its own page, then it's NOT "notable," Q.E.D.
As there's no real attempt to describe the company's history — note how little the founder is even mentioned! — I delare this to be a Peacock.
