Devils Diciples Motorcycle Club Objections, by Detroit Mike DDMC
[edit]The DDMC does not authorize or contribute any information about it's self to this Encyclopedia other than the correction noted. We do not have Rivals or Allies (the sde notes are completly wrong) and are and have been standing on our own for over 40 years. The inclussion of a header shown as "Criminal Activities" is not only miss-leading on the part of this web site but possibly libal to suit. The Devils Diciples are a Motorcycle Club and not a criminal enterprise. If some members are arrested for some crime; it has to be proven that they have actually commited that crime first and further that it was a club venture. This cannot be proven because we do not plan or commit illegal acts as a club. Labeling us as doing so is libel to suit by any or all members seeing themselves being harmed by the accusation(s).

The following is one of Wikipedia Guidlines for article creation which the article about the DDMC does not adhere to and if the original writer or wikipedia does not comply. Neutral point of view The neutral point of view is a means of dealing with conflicting perspectives on a topic as evidenced by reliable sources. It requires that all majority- and significant-minority views must be presented fairly, in a disinterested tone, and in rough proportion to their prevalence within the source material. The neutral point of view neither sympathizes with nor discourages its subject, nor does it endorse or oppose specific viewpoints. Also, it doesn't represent a lack of viewpoint, but is rather a specific, editorially neutral, point of view — it is not aimed at the absence or elimination of viewpoints. Wikipedia is filled with reliably sourced non-neutral statements, so the elimination of article content cannot be justified under this policy solely on the grounds that it is "POV". Article content should clearly describe, represent, and characterize disputes within topics, but should not endorse any particular point of view. Instead, articles should provide background on who believes what, and why, and on which points of view are more popular. Detailed articles will often contain evaluations of each viewpoint, but these, too, must studiously refrain from taking sides. --24.217.66.22 (talk) 03:48, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
I see that the whole format has been changed and I like it. The inclussion of the Hells Angels- Diciples Artical is still not correct, it was not one of our members and we are not rivals nor do we have problems with the 81, but we both know the truth and as long as the rest of the format--Detroit44 (talk) 17:07, 29 September 2009 (UTC) has been restructured. I rest...for now, but watch what ya say.
Disputed information
[edit]It is disputed that "William "Cats" Michaels" was a member of the "Devils Diciples" and instead was a member of the USA MC "Devils Disciples" a smaller club spelled differently and based on the east coast and affiliated with the Outlaws MC. If you read the referenced artical you will see that the club name is not spelled the same. The following URL backs up this premis. http://archive.southcoasttoday.com/daily/07-98/07-27-98/a02wn037.htm Chief suspect arrested in motorcycle shootings.

- It seems equally likely that the reporter didn't notice the idiosyncratic spelling of the name, as this one did not. A search only turns up the UK affiliates, which evidently embrace the more typical spelling as well. Are there reliable sources pointing to the existence of this other club? A general search on the term isn't helpful, given that it is used in many contexts. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:55, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
- The truth about our history and other things is on our website, take it from the horses mouth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Detroit44 (talk • contribs) 16:58, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
- I think you're starting to understand Wikipedia now. These articles are not the truth. What they are is an attempt to aggregate verifiable facts from independent sources. By definition, an independent source is an outsider, and to find out what the insiders have to say for themselves, you have to go to them. That's why the subject's official page is almost always linked to at the top of the external links section.--Dbratland (talk) 18:44, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Comment from 207.72.69.2 (talk · contribs):
William "Cats" Michaels is not a member of the Devils Diciples MC, of which this article is about, and which intentionally misspells it's name. He was a member of an east coast MC named the Devils Disciples, which only has a couple east coast chapters, and which spells its named correctly. See: http://www.devilsdiciplesmc.us/ T"'The Devils Disciples MC (Spelling) located on the east coast (Ma, NY areas etc) are also another small club that are not associated with us at all (and will never be us).'" from the Devils Diciples website, http://www.devilsdiciples.org/DdmcEvents.htm)(*Wiki Admins, please leave this correction in, or re-write the article with the proper information.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.72.69.2 (talk • contribs)
