Calvin999 thanks for taking this up, but would you mind if I ask you to review some of the older nominations if you please? I just nominated this yesterday so I think it can wait for sometime. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 13:25, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
You're the nominator??  — Calvin999 20:27, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you check the history I had nominated it on behalf of FanofPopMusic after making updates to the article. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 04:30, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I did check the history. Why have you nominated it on his behalf and why not include yourself as a co-nominator?  — Calvin999 09:00, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to, then thought leave it. Let FOPM have the full credit. Chuck that, I went ahead and added my name, I did quite the cleanup for the whole article myself too. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 09:14, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, okay.  — Calvin999 09:33, 5 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • There is one dead link here. I tried opening it but it's just a home page
  • I'd alphabetise the record labels in the info box
  • Is Madonna credited in the booklet as just Madonna, or Madonna Ciccone? I thought for songwriting credits, she used the later
  • by American singer → by American singer and songwriter
  • While on early stages of the album, → During the early stages of the album,
  • Madonna was encouraged by her manager to work with him and his team of songwriters. → Who?
  • worked in seven → worked on seven
  • was born after → was composed after
  • and the search → and her search?
  • , and the desire → Remove 'and' (too many successive uses of 'and' in this sentence)
  • with musical similarity → with similarities
  • from music critics → from critics
  • reaching the top-twenty in five countries. → list them
  • of his hits. → of his music.
  • There is a lot of repetition of 'the song' in the Critical reception section, but you only write "Devil Pray" once at the start. Some more variety is needed.
  • I don't think there's any need to overlook the people involved in the Credits and personnel section.
  • Ref 4: Digital Spy shouldn't be italics
  • Same for Ref 6 (Are you choosing to link every instance the publication is used?)
Outcome

I like this song and the article is good. On hold for 7 days though I'm sure you won't need that.  — Calvin999 11:57, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Calvin999 thanks again for taking the time to review and I'm glad you like the song, even its one of my favorites too. I have addressed all the points so please check and let me know if I missed anything. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 13:32, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
