[edit]I think the only monsters conroled by the alians were Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, Manda, Barogon, and Anguiris--wattamb2000 I BELIEVE WE NEED GODZILLA AND HIS FRIENDS TO SAVE PLANET EARTH FROM THE ADMINISTRATION OF GEORGE W. BUSH BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!```Raymond Avila(ravila81@comcast.net
You are correct that those are the only ones shown in destruction scenes or battles with earth forces. BUT -- the dialogue says that "all of the earth's monsters" are on the island at the start of the movie. It would be OR or SYNTHESIS to say it in the article -- but it is clear that the other monsters that appear at the final battle scene MUST have been on the island at the beginning, and therefore were temporarily under the aliens' control -- (Spiega, Varan, Minya, Gorosaurus). I OBJECT TO THIS snippet of plot summary in the article: Gorosaurus (wrongly identified as Baragon) Why do I object? Because per the story of the movie, it *is* Baragon that attacks Paris (under the Arch). It doesn't matter whether they used the Gorosaurus suit or not (and they did use the Gorosaurus suit because the Baragon suit was in really bad shape -- but why they couldn't use it for the quickie head shot that is in this scene is still a mystery). But it doesn't matter. What matters is that structurally, in both the original movie and the dubbed versions -- the monster that attacks Paris is called "Baragon" (not Gorosaurus). Whatever he looks like, the dialogue supports BARAGON. Also, the history of these monsters supports Baragon (i.e. Baragon is a burrowing monster -- from his earlier appearance.,,,whereas Gorosaurus is simply an Allosaurus-type monster.) Yes, that would be OR. But the fact that the film calls him BARAGON is not -- it is original source. Chesspride 66.19.84.2 (talk) 07:51, 23 February 2015 (UTC)

[edit]"...and features up to eleven monster characters..." Well, thanks for my laugh of the day. That's like 2 + 2 = up to 4. Wow! 71.162.113.226 (talk) 12:17, 22 April 2020 (UTC)
