Plot Edit
I have today edited the plot summary for this novel. I've just finished reading the novel, and the previous text was very inaccurate: e.g.g. heroine's name misspelt; pearls not radioactive etc. I have also slightly rolled back the spoiler, since with a novel called Destination Unknown, it does seem to be a rather unreasonable spoiler to say where the destination is. I know that how far an entry in Wikipedia should protect the reader from spoilers is controversial, but I hope that the edit reflects the entire plot of the novel without compromising the experience of reading it.

- I have filled in the rest of the plot summary. In the five years since your post, the controversy over spoilers has pretty much been settled in their favor. If Wikipedia were a literary magazine or a fan site or some other kind of publication with a particular agenda, it might be appropriate to hide information to protect the enjoyment of potential readers of books and viewers of movies; but this is an encyclopedia and therefore – in theory, at least – a source of complete information on the subjects it covers, including the plots of movies and published fiction.--Jim10701 (talk) 22:37, 10 October 2011 (UTC)
Destination Calabria
There was a song in the charts in the Summer of 2007 called Destination Calabria that contained the lyrics "Destination Unknown". You don't think it could have been a reference to the book do you?

Very much doubt it -it's one of Christie's lesser known works--Jtomlin1uk 08:09, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes, you're probably right.
