There has been a merging proposition between Desjardins General Insurance and Desjardins Insurance. Even if I can understand the train of thought behind this, I think we should keep these pages separated. Most people confound Desjardins General Insurance, Desjardins Insurance and Desjardins Financial Security, because DGI and DSF both appear under the name of "Desjardins Insurance" on internet. However, DGI and DSF are two subsidiaries of Desjardins Insurance. I think it is important to keep Desjardins General Insurance and Desjardins Insurance separated, as they don't talk about the same things; Desjardins Insurance should talk about the insurance part of Desjardins at large, while Desjardins General Insurance talks about P&C insurance and Desjardins Financial Security talks about life insurance. Yes, the three of them are related, but I don't think they are related enough to appear on the same page, and I don't think is is worth loosing that clear separation between the three instances. However, this is only my opinion and i'm open to discuss about it :) Archibald Riverdale (talk) 19:02, 30 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
