In conjunction with the concurrent RM The Descendants → The Descendants (2011 film) at Talk:The Descendants#Requested move 26 December 2017, we may consider that since these are sole films bearing such very specific titles, the years would not be needed. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 20:22, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose all completely anti-user. This will make life more difficult for the 15% of people who (according to OED) spell "descendants" as "descendents". It's not our job to beat readers with spelling variants. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:21, 27 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. In view of the fact pointed out above by Taylor Trescott, the middle nomination, Descendants (2008 film) → Descendants (film), is withdrawn. Strongly OPPOSE #2, weak support #1 and #3. Glad you got rid of #2, as Descendants (2015 film) still exists. I agree with User:Taylor Trescott and kinda with the nom. Better graphic

If the year of this film is removed from title it will become more important to have a good graphic to help identification - not clear what the current jpg is (a variant DVD cover?), suggest replace with the movie poster. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:34, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
