Headings and sections

[edit]

Wikipedia:Manual of Style (layout)#Headings_and_sections states that "Very short or very long sections and subsections in an article look cluttered and inhibit the flow of the prose." I agree with this and in the case of this article, which contains some single-sentence sections and can pretty much be viewed in its entirety without needing to scroll, I think section headings are not needed at all.--Jeff79 (talk) 00:44, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think more the problem is that the sections need expanding, rather than the headings are not needed. A single sentence on his domestic career for example does not do it justice. Mattlore (talk) 00:51, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. But I'm just more concerned with handling the article the way it is now, rather than the way it should be.--Jeff79 (talk) 01:25, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fair call. Made some changes which should have alleviated your concerns. Mattlore (talk) 04:47, 24 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
