Notability
[edit]I can state that Derrick Comedy is notable - I found them indepently on YouTube and they have an active following there of many thousands of viewers and at least a dozen videos posted.
I'm not sure if any of that is Wikipedia-worthy, though. That's not my area of expertise. Erich Blume 18:39, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
They do have a large, active fan-base, have been on national television in America. I will work on finding outside sources though. John Pouliot 02:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Derrick was on TV? --Future Fun Jumper (TIC) 04:08, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- They are the #1 subscribed and #2 most viewed comedy act on YouTube. That's notable, I suppose. Matt d84 02:00, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Edits - Beginning 3.12.07
[edit]I have begun to rework this article, wikification-wise and with copyediting. If anyone is willing to help with sources, that would be much appreciated. Perhaps the individual articles on cast members should also be merged? John Pouliot 03:03, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll see what I can find. --Future Fun Jumper (TIC) 04:07, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Contacted derrick and added images from their website. Unfortunately there isn't alot to do with them yet layout-wise. In terms of the notability guidelines, The Apiary has a lot of Derrick articles in the archives if someone is willing to do a quick search.John Pouliot 02:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Advertisement and Citing Sources
[edit]I believe with the rewrite this article is not nearly the press release it was before. Can someone confirm and remove the tag? John Pouliot 02:30, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I removed them. Great work. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 08:08, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- In reference to the above notes, anyone reading this—especially those who edit comedy articles—might want to know the following and take this into consideration. Future Fun Jumper (TIC), was a 'sock puppet' of a rogue admin who took it upon themselves to slash/burn hundreds of comedy articles. For those unfamiliar with the term, a 'sock puppet' is someone who uses multiple accounts deceive others on and influence others Wikipedia. And in this case, Chris Griswold was an admin who used 'sock puppets' to taunt and bully dozens of comedy and improv related articles. —SpyMagician 06:49, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Other bit parts
[edit]POssibly worth mentioning, both Dominic and Donald have had 30 rock cameos, and Dominic had a recent bit part on Parks and recreation too. I don't know the episodes or anything, I just recognized them —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.34.206.107 (talk) 03:39, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
