[edit]I don't think this Derek Miller is dead. According to http://penmachine-bu.appspot.com/2011/05/the-last-post , the Derek Miller of Vancouver was born in 1969- and this Derek Miller in 1974. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.209.213.37 (talk) 04:47, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Someone got confused. Derek Miller and Derek K. Miller (aka @penmachine) are two different people. I can personally confirm this. Therefore, I'm reverting these changes. Ryanmccuaig (talk) 22:12, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Derek Miller → Derek Miller (Canadian musician) – The hatnote is getting long, and at <20 pageviews daily, this article does not appear to be a clear primary topic. Recommend move to make a dabpage at Derek Miller. 162 etc. (talk) 16:31, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support. The pageviews compellingly demonstrate that this Derek Miller isn't the primary topic for the name. Agreed as well that a disambiguation page would be a useful addition here. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 17:00, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and ModernDayTrilobite. Likewise support creation of a Derek Miller disambiguation page that would list Derek Miller (field hockey), Derek Miller (Canadian musician), Derek Miller of Sleigh Bells (band), Derek E. Miller and Derek B. Miller. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 04:06, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support and Derek Miller (disambiguation) can be moved in instead. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:15, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support not everyone will use initials when searching and the higher views for B suggests he is more likely. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:37, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support. This page existed before any of the others did, but "first come first served" isn't how we decide who is or isn't the primary topic. He and Derek B are more or less tied, as they have about the same number of total views and the same daily average, and each has some days when they peak higher than the other and some days when they fall behind. That's not really a recipe for primary topic status at all. Bearcat (talk) 21:55, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
