Passing A software module?

"A dependency is something (a service object or software module) to be relied on and used."

I hesitate to delete module only because I don't want my object oriented bias to rule out what maybe true in non-OO languages. However, I don't think this is adding much especially when the link explains modules as packages that would have many objects in them which is pointlessly confusing. If someone can offer a good argument why software modules should be mentioned here I'd like to hear it. Galhalee (talk) 03:09, 19 July 2015 (UTC)
