@Renvoy:, first of all, I do not have any interest to depict the subject in a particular way. Instead, I am following the sources. So, let's work together to improve the article, as needed. Please give a couple of specific examples of what you believe is relevant to the templates that you added, and I'll be happy to fix them or discuss them. Note, that the template that you added contains a link to the talk page, implying that specific issues have to be discussed here. As to the the length of the lead, I use guidance from WP:LEAD: the four paragraph limit. 凰兰时罗 (talk) 14:58, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I think it is is quite odvious that article needs reorganization, because it is written like an ad. With such sentences as turning it from the worst medical establishment of its class in Ukraine to one of the best, pioneering state-of-the-art medical procedures or his desire to improve the Center and his relationship with political figures such as [...] led him to become a political figure himself article do not pass WP:NPOV. Also article clearly lends undue weight to certain ideas relative to the article as a whole. And strange situation with image begs question of conflict of interest and possible Wikipedia:Autobiography.--Renvoy (talk) 05:04, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there!
There may be a misunderstanding here which I encountered before on the topic of 19th century Washington state pioneers. WP:NPOV is about balanced coverage of reliable sources. The policy does not prohibit positive coverage of the subject if the sources agree on it. Under different circumstances, you would be absolutely correct. For example, if one source were to praise Skoryi, and another source were to express doubts about his accomplishments, then a Wikipedia entry would have to take a "neutral" side. However, if the sources agree that he has turned "the worst medical establishment of its class in Ukraine to one of the best," there is nothing in WP:NPOV that precludes us from writing this. At the same time, if you believe that certain sentences needs a trim, please feel free to make edits.
Look, I'm a fair person, and I understand that perhaps I get carried away a little when jump into studying a life of people who I gain respect for after reading what they have have accomplished. Perhaps, I do not even notice that this is the case. This is theoretically possible with any of us. This may happen with any such topic that I work on. Look, my articles are similar in style for dead or leaving folks who I respect. For example, J. J. Donovan, Lawson Nicholson, or Charles Dwelley. But this is why Wikipedia is a team effort. Second pair of eyes is always helpful. Please, feel free to trim down offending phrasing that you believe to be excessive. That would be infinitely more helpful as opposed to adding vague and general templates without any detailed explanations. Please note that facts are supported and fully sourced in the body, then summarized in the lead as per WP:MOS. Also, please re-read WP:NPOV. Neutrality in this policy does not imply neutrality how we use it in everyday life. It implies neutrality between conflicting reliable sources. So does "undue weight".
Believe me, I know how WP:NPOV works and I see a clear violation here. For example, I could not find sources that Denys Skoryi turned worst medical establishment of its class in Ukraine to one of the best. It, maybe, represents your point of view but this is not how Wikipedia is being written.--Renvoy (talk) 11:50, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
