Additions 4/10/06
[edit]I added some clarifying text (and a new section) to flesh out the story a bit. My additions still need references, documentation, and some expansion. Thinking of what's needed for an encyclopedia article, I've tried to capture a sense of what makes this railroad unique enough to deserve an entry of its own. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pfaff9 (talk • contribs) 21:29, April 10, 2006.
Additions 27/9/07
[edit]Added further reading heading and book: William Blackmore: Early Financing of the Denver & Rio Grande Railway. 500 copies of this book were published in 1949. Copies can be found at some used booksellors, western public libraries (incl. Denver Public Library), and at the Colorado State Archives. KDBlackmore 16:24, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

This article desperately needs citations. I especially would like to see the citation on the fast train Philosphy. We all know Rio Grande ran trains that way, but what year was this philosophy made compay policy? SSLVguy (talk) 15:39, 16 July 2009 (UTC) |
