The individual Eagles seasons sections should be merged into one section since there is not expected to be a lot of prose to include there. A 10-sentence section is much cleaner than splitting them up into five sections. Eagles24/7(C)15:47, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Eagles247: Perhaps you can consider elaborating why a 10-sentence section is "cleaner". It does not make a significant difference to me. I personally like treating all articles for people, especially NFL players the same way, meaning that if other articles like Peyton Manning have season-by-season sections, so should this one. I understand that some would be rather short, but they can still be expanded if given enough detail. DeathTrain (talk) 23:40, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DeathTrain:MOS:BODY says Very short or very long sections and subsections in an article look cluttered and inhibit the flow of the prose. Short paragraphs and single sentences generally do not warrant their own subheading. In this particular instance, I would be surprised if a section like Kelly's 2013 season would even be able to have more than two or three sentences, as he did not play in any games and offensive linemen rarely receive much coverage as it is. I understand your desire for consistency across NFL player pages, but in the end a player like Peyton Manning will receive substantially more coverage for any of his seasons than a player like Kelly. Eagles24/7(C)23:46, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Eagles247: But remember, they can still be expanded if enough details are added. Comparing the Eagles sections to the Titans sections, similar expansions can be made to them. However, I am not an Eagles fan, so I cannot expand those sections. DeathTrain (talk) 23:53, 23 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@DeathTrain: At this time, I am not really interested in expanding this article. Feel free to do so if you want, but I think the section headers should only be added after an expansion has taken place. Eagles24/7(C)04:37, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Eagles247: Alright, I guess I have no problem with the Eagles sections being merged at this time. If I or anyone want to expand them later, they will be separated and expanded. DeathTrain (talk) 15:38, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
