[edit]I removed the "citation needed" tag from the sentence stating that Bob Babbitt was the bass player on Coffey's hit 1971 instrumental "Scorpio". Why would that information be in doubt? Babbitt is credited as the bassist on the liner notes of the original LP release of "Scorpio" on Coffey's "Evolution" album, SXBS 7004, on the Sussex label. Wiki even has an article on this album which lists the personnel, which includes Babbitt as the bassist. I have an original copy of the album that I can scan the cover from if anyone wants to see it.
I'm mystified that anyone would doubt this simple and easily confirmed bit of information.
BTW, why a list of "samples"? Who cares haw many people ripped-off Coffey's sound because they were too talentless to write their own music?
Currently perforning live!
[edit]He has a quartet that performs every Tuesday from 8pm to 11pm at Northern Lights lounge in Detroit's New Centre section. He's been doing this for the last several years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.115.238.102 (talk) 23:13, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
