Roger Rogerson

[edit]

The article used to have the text:

"Police officer Roger Rogerson received his first criminal conviction in 1985 for involvement in drug dealing when he was charged with consipiring with Allen to supply heroin."

I couldn't find a source so replaced the paragraph with something else. I saw a SMH article (23 April 1988, "Rogerson on Heroin Charge") that says he did the heroin deal with Allen in 1985, but he was served with a summons in 1988. --Commander Keane 10:12, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"drug induced" heart attack.

[edit]

What was the drug which led to his death? 67.5.157.4 (talk) 23:14, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mmm, it looks like heart disease. A quote from a newspaper:
Inevitably, his body gave out and he was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital suffering a rare bacterial infection that caused pieces of his heart to come away and be transported into his bloodstream--(Source: Little Stevie's mad, bad dance with evil How heroin drove Easybeats singer to rely on charity from a brutal drug lord, Sunday Herald Sun)
This source also mentions that he took half-hourly speed injections at some stage.--Commander Keane (talk) 13:20, 2 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Australian serial killers category

[edit]

The article states Allen is suspected of killing numerous people, sometimes based on rumors. Because this is not a BLP, I'll leave that in; however, until information from a reliable source identifies him as a serial killer, either by expert diagnosis or common belief in Australia, it is misleading to include him in that category. momoricks (make my day) 04:37, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
