[edit]As per WP:COMMONNAME the area is most commonly known as the Denbigh Moors in English.
- Denbigh Moors: 128,000 results
- Mynydd Hiraethog: About 29,700 results
It is confusing to using the native name on the English Wikipedia because it is not the name most associated with the area.81.132.7.161 (talk) 15:02, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Only discovered this was a cut-paste move recently, and had requested a history merge (now performed). In light of the naming situation, those results are not accurate, quotation marks have to be put around the query, without them "Denbigh Moors" likely includes searches that have both "Denbigh" and "Moors" too. With quotation marks and at a later date (2023) it provides:
- This could indicate the move to Denbigh Moors is justified on the surface, but Google Search results are not 100% used to justify the common name, per WP:WIAN. So a wider review of sources (not search results) may be needed. DankJae 23:21, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
