Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... I'm still in the process of writing it. I would like some more time to write it, as I am learning the citation rules as I go. The person in the article is possibly going to be running for a Congress seat and also has been part of teams working on a cure for Ebola. Both of which I personally think are notable, especially if the first also comes true. --Fayrfayr (talk) 15:42, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
- I support speedy deletion of this article because she has not yet done something that would qualify her for an article. Thousands of people write scientific articles and thousands of people have considered running for Congress. Should Ms. Minning decide to run for Congress and her candidacy is significant enough that the media reports on it with some regularity, then there may be a strong argument that she deserves an article. Until then, this page should be deleted. --Vrivasfl (talk) 16:28, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
- I will move the contents to my sandbox and then see if there are more media reports. Fayrfayr (talk) 16:35, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
Strange revert
[edit]This edit reverted the addition of material sourced to newspaper articles, the content of which can be easily verified by reading the articles. However, "inaccuraries" were claimed. Before deleting the material again, explain why these newspaper sources are supposedly "inaccurate". Hekerui (talk) 13:44, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
