There seems to be something very wrong with the graph on this page (almost two million pop increase in a decade?). Can somebody look into it, please? --Dejan Čabrilo 01:06, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
Census results are being disputed. Like the most part of Turkmenia's official stats.
I think the population is nearly 7 million by now instead of 5 million. and most man of the country can speak russian, not only 12% even the truck drivers can speak russian fluently. The education standard during Niyazov's rule had fallen significantly as he deported all the russian teachers and doctors, this resulted in a new generation of illiteracy.
