[edit]The Liberal Democratic Union (Φιλελεύθερη Δημοκρατική Ένωση in Greek) was a post WWII Greek political party, led by Sofoklis Venizelos. It was not a party alliance. Not to be confused, as it is the case in this article, with the similarly named coalition of the Greek political parties for the General election of 1956, the Democratic Union (Δημοκρατική Ένωση). The Liberal Democratic Union was part of the coalition; see "Οι εκλογές του 1956" (in Greek = "The 1956 General election [in Greece]"), in: Kathimerini of 11th May 2014. ——Chalk19 (talk) 10:03, 21 November 2017 (UTC)
