In 2006 Khader announced the establishment of his Moderate Muslim Movement (Demokratiske Muslimer)- two organizations complained to him that he used their names. Thomas Abdullah Bang was the president of Demokratiske Muslimer, a legal registered Muslim-cultural organization from 1995. Khader refused to answer any allegations.
Mediation between Khader´s lawyer and Demokratiske Muslimer was set up in March 2006 but the issue was not resolved during these meetings; the case is still pending. Khader, however, suddenly changed the name of his organization into "Demokratiske Muslimer i Danmark". He cannot, however, register his organization legally under that name, because Demokratiske Muslimer from 1995 have registered that name first, which makes Khader´s organization a non-registered plagiat.
Khader´s organization also opened a website under this name, regardless that another organization in Denmark, Moderate Muslimer, had legal rights to this domain name. That case is also unresolved and pending.
