Party logo
[edit]Can someone help me upload the party's logo? It can be found here. My account is still new, so I can't upload images yet... --Tuniof (talk) 00:12, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- That's ok... I have submitted a WP:FFU request here [1]. --Tuniof (talk) 00:38, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
Representatives
[edit]Things have been changing very rapidly these days, with MPs defecting, etc. I haven't been able to find up-to-date references proving the affiliations of these politicians. Mr Skylakakis still lists himself as independent on his website. Mr Avgenakis doesn't even have a website and all I could find were rumours in the blogosphere that he is preparing to join the Democratic Alliance. Please add the required references if you find them. --Tuniof (talk) 22:42, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
- I added some references, but I am not really satisfied with what I found. Please feel free to update them if you find anything better. --Tuniof (talk) 23:13, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
- I removed Skylakakis and Avgenakis who at least stated that he regards himself a member of ND [2]. --geraki TL 21:22, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- No problem with me; I am not the one who added them anyway. I guess it's better to wait until things settle down a bit before adding more people... --Tuniof (talk) 23:10, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
- As I said last month, now that the dust has settled, I have added the party's parliamentary representatives together with the proper references. --Tuniof (talk) 00:20, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Democratic Alliance is a neo-liberal party
[edit]Even the flat taxation, and the partial privatization of social security that Dora Bakoyiannis has suggested are neo-liberal measures. It doesn't have to be declared by the party-look at the BNP's template, the British party never declared itself fascist, but there it is,lying in its ideology template. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.74.132.178 (talk) 18:06, 23 January 2011 (UTC) Also, the introduction of Coupons in education is a highly neo-liberal measure,as is the termination of tenure in the public sector. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.74.132.178 (talk) 20:35, 23 January 2011 (UTC) I agree - judging from the political positions mentioned, this party should not be called center-liberal, neo-liberal or right-liberal or rightwing are all better labels. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.210.77.178 (talk) 17:13, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

- The party has been described as centre-right, too [3]. Its economic views were clearly to the right of both ND (of which Bakoyanni split due to her support for austerity measures) and PASOK of the time, i.e. more neoliberal.Miacek and his crime-fighting dog (woof!) 21:45, 8 July 2013 (UTC)
