Rationale for reverting error filled edits
[edit]Jackson didn't "organize" anything, by any conventional definition of that word. He called his cousin in Louisville to come and break him out. The identification of the sergeant's geographical post helps an article reader to understand that his attempted murder happened not at the scene of the escape, but 350 miles away. Jackson's escort was by three CCA guards. His cousin did not leave the rental car where it was stopped by Chesnut, but Jackson walked alone back to the sergeant's unmarked cruiser and tried to kill him, shooting him five times. The antique revolver misfired on his sixth attempt to dispatch him, this with a shot to his head. Jackson then went back to the getaway car and got the cousin's gun, and tried to return, still alone, to finish off the officer. The cousin didn't try to shoot anyone. If you believe there are problems with the grammar in my edits, feel free to correct them. But don't remove pertinent facts and pretend you're just being schoolmarmish. If you believe my recounting of the facts to be wrong, please provide reliable sources for your contentions before deleting them again. Thank you. Activist (talk) 04:42, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for your work on the article, "Magnolia.: I deleted the info regarding the alleged "slight" financial loss as it comes from CCA's own advice to stockholders, which is meant to put the best possible face on the corporation's operations, rather from a reliable source.
