Other (not so) famous DiCrescenzos

[edit]

Is Delilah DiCrescnezo related to music journalist, humorist and deleted article subject Brent DiCrescenzo? That doesn't seem like a terribly common name.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back (talk) 17:21, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article's main purpose

[edit]

It is a little stupid how the first section of the article, which should give an overview of this girl, doesn't mention the reason why she even had her 15 minutes of fame--the Plain White T's song! This page would not exist if not for it, it isn't like she's popular in her own right for being a steeplechase runner, whatever that is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.198.0.201 (talk) 17:56, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After AfD

[edit]

The AfD has closed as "keep." I actually think that's reasonable, given what WP:ATH is currently understood to mean. I hope that the editors who supported keeping will make an effort to add to the page the sources that were found during the AfD, to make the sourcing for notability stronger. Thanks. --Tryptofish (talk) 18:43, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Muse

[edit]

Would anyone look up "Beatrice" except to discover what Dante thought he saw in her? Miss DiCrescenzo's fifteen minutes of fame have lasted for years now, and as a fellow Columbian I'm proud of her. As the best known example of a Muse in the 21st century, she deserves a picture which suggests why she became one. The existing picture of an exhausted track star doesn't explain the passion or the song. And, judging by the dozens of pictures on Google, for some reason we've chosen the only unflattering picture she ever took in her life. Please, let's not be puritanical about this. Profhum (talk) 08:24, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you feel that strongly about it, I suggest you find us a picture with the correct license. If you do, post it here and we'll discuss it. If it is obviously a good fit (better quality, good license & related to her athletic achievements, which are the main reason she is notable for the wiki) then just go ahead and replace it. 88.217.123.90 (talk) 16:23, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
