I can review this! It shouldn't take too long. Dr. Swag Lord (talk) 01:08, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

- A very well-written article on this short-lived American newspaper. Earwig did pick-up some copyright issues, but it appears everything was quoted text from the PD.
- I tried looking for other sources but I'm pretty sure BeanieFan11 included just about every RS on this newspaper—so there's really not a lot we can do to expand the article. A have a few minor suggestions, but overall, this is a GA level article:
- In the lead, perhaps mention that Greeley was the Liberal Republican Party candidate (like you did with O'Connor)
- Link "1872 National Convention" to 1872 Republican National Convention
- Link "Democratic National Convention" to 1872 Democratic National Convention
- You sometimes shorten the title of the paper to either Straight-Out Truth Teller or just Truth Teller. I would recommend being consistent and just use one of those shortened titles.
- You can shorten "Ulysses S. Grant" in parg. 4 to just "Grant", as you did previously
- You quoted the Delaware State Journal reporting that the second issue of the Truth Teller was "very interesting." You could probably lengthen that quote to include the full quote, "...very interesting, positive in its support for the Louisville candidates, and earnest in its advocacy of Democratic Country and State ticket"
- I believe the official name of "Rowell's Newspaper Directory" is Rowell's American Newspaper Directory [1] or Geo. P. Rowell and Co.'s American Newspaper Directory. [2] You can keep it as "Rowell's Newspaper Directory" but would need to i) remove the italics, ii) make "Newspaper Directory" lowercase and iii) link Rowell to George P. Rowell.
