Despite being considered as one of the largest forest country in the world, There is no article "forestry in indonesia". I think there is many other important material about indonesian forestry not only about deforestation. Can anyone help to create the article?. Sources of deforestation

[edit]

As currently written, this article places a primary emphasis on deforestation impacts of the pulp and paper industry & on illegal logging. Although the impact of oil palm plantation development is mentioned in image captions, it is only mentioned in passing in the text of the article. For further development and accuracy of this article, it would be helpful to integrate more information on oil palm plantation development & its impact on deforestation in Indonesia into the article; it would be helpful also to include statistics, if/ where available, on the relative contributions of different sources of deforestation. As it is now, my impression is that the emphasis of the article is somewhat skewed. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 22:58, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
