As this is the english wikipedia page, if someone could attempt translations of the dialogue, I think it'd vastly improve the page for potential readers.
I removed the dialogues
We don't need dialogues. If it's your favorite movie, it may give you some satisfaction to relive the best moments, but it means nothing to people who haven't seen the movie, and it's the sort of thing that should go on fan pages, not in encyclopedias. We especially don't need dialogues in Hindi, even if they're translated.
Also, synopses should be short and snappy, not long and boring. Zora 09:50, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Deewaar.jpg
Image:Deewaar.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Unsourced material
The following is unsourced information:
- Shashi Kapoor who played Amitabh Bachchan's younger brother in the film is actually four years older than Bachchan. (Similar to the way Roger Moore who is 3 years older than Sean Connery looks younger)
- The screenplay of the movie is considered to be a classic and was part of the curriculum in FTII Pune
- The original script did not have any provision for songs , the producer who did not want to deviate from the norm requested for songs to be added stating Picture Bahut sookhi hogi (The narrative will be very dry) to which the script writing duo quipped picture ka naam gili deewar rakh dijiye, (Call the movie Wet Wall).
While this is interesting, we can't use it unless you provide a source. Also, none of this is really trivia, as trivia by its definition is "unimportant information" - it therefore shouldn't be in a trivia or miscellanea section but instead the information should be incorporated into the main article. - Tbsdy lives (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 03:46, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
