Question
[edit]Shouldn't this article say that this motion is used in "legislative bodies" rather than "deliberative assemblies"? Both examples are legislative bodies, and the motion does not exist in any non-legislative parliamentary authority that I am aware of. (In fact it is directly contrary to the procedures in Robert's Rules, which require much more than just a simple motion and majority vote in order to remove an elected officer.) - This motion can be used when the offending occupant of the chair is not the regular presiding officer of a society, per RONR 10th ed., p. 642. Also, I believe it is used in the corporate world as well. Larry E. Jordan (talk) 03:26, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
