- I see no point at all in having two separate articles for "declamation" and the Latin term declamatio. I'm just going to merge them boldly. Cynwolfe (talk) 12:46, 19 April 2013 (UTC)
The page as it previously stood did not do a great job of explaining what declamation was, what authors of it survive, and its place in Roman education and literature. I've tried to provide a summary of these things. Rylltraka (talk) 01:24, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
