Page move to "Debt Sales & Acquisitions"
[edit]The sources in this article and in the industry in general don't support moving this page to "Debt Sales & Acquisitions". That looks to me like a sanitized name that may be preferred by some, but is not the name commonly used. The leading trade association is DBA, which stood for Debt Buyers Association, until they apparently decided to be known simply as DBA.--Kubigula (talk) 03:31, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Under construction
[edit]I added the Under construction template as there is some content that needs referencing, updating and/or replacing dead urls. There is a lot of content related to controversies at this time which I realize needs to be balanced.Oceanflynn (talk) 16:54, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
I had attempted to replace the deadurl in the 2006 MSN Money article by Liz Pulliam Weston with one published by a law professor but this was a copyright violation apparently and was removed. It would be great to have another legal link to this article.[1]

Some content is outdated and cites dead urls.
Sections headings could be improved. The controversies section refers to historical issues that were resolved and I am placing some of these in that section.
I welcome suggestions for RS, content, organization, categories, incoming and outgoing wikilinks.Oceanflynn (talk) 16:54, 29 June 2017 (UTC)
