[edit]"There has been speculation in the media that Coyne does not expect to win but is hoping to be appointed a judge by a re-elected Martin government."
Is there any source for this? If not I suggest it be removed. 70.51.152.164 23:15, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

- Some major revisions: This page struck me as pretty poorly put together. I have organized the information a little better and edited here and there. The list of published works is incomplete. Someone with more time on their hands than I should add to it.Arthurmeighan 23:55, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
Children's birthdays?
[edit]Okay, two children -- which is the eldest? Was she involved with Trudeau prior to, or after, her marraige to Valpy? Perhaps including her children's exact birthdays could represent a slightly increased risk of identity theft for them, but surely there could be no objection to including their year of birth? Geo Swan (talk) 17:27, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Answering my own question -- Elizabeth Sara is approximately five years older than her brother Matthew, and is in her final year of University. Geo Swan (talk) 16:31, 1 October 2012 (UTC)
- migawd! does that matter? as for including their exact birthdates, what the heigh-ho would that accomplish? other than satisfying those who are so easily titillated. go read people magazine or something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.93.33.119 (talk) 20:05, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Proposal to Declutter Political Career Section
[edit]It looks as if the second paragraph of the Political Career section contains a lot of detail that is not encyclopedic but, rather, consists of snippets of information cobbled together from news reports of that time, which was seven or eight years ago. As this level of detail would appear to be no longer relevant, I propose to condense this paragraph into something like the following:
“Coyne was nominated in March 2007 as the Liberal Party of Canada candidate in Toronto Danforth but withdrew later in the year. In 2008, she sought the federal Liberal nomination in the riding of Don Valley West but withdrew in favour of Rob Oliphant.”
Any comments?

Relationship with Pierre Trudeau
[edit]In the information block at the bottom of this page and Pierre Trudeau a 'partner' relationship is implied between the two of them. There is nothing in either article to suggest this or to provide evidence for the link. Can this be removed or substantiated?
