(All late national leaders who have passed away and possess some level of recognition have wikipages for their death, funeral and formal reactions from other leaders. Such includes Death and funeral of Margaret Thatcher.) --183.86.209.27 (talk) 02:58, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
Contested deletion
This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a subject that was invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally and for lack of asserted importance, because all reactions are cited and there seems to be nothing on this page that is self-made, nor is any statement on it discovered by the author. It may be a recent event but it is an important one as it is of relation to the death of a nations founder. This page may serve as a shortening of the person's own page. --108.40.166.104 (talk) 03:24, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Reactions to the death of Lee Kuan Yew → Death of Lee Kuan Yew – This article should be structured like other politicians, where there is a base "death" article prior to a reactions subarticle. So expand this article to cover the death and funerary arrangements, with the reactions as a section in that article, until a separate reactions article is needed 65.94.43.89 (talk) 08:20, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

- Support I am the nominator. -- 65.94.43.89 (talk) 08:20, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support 183.86.209.27 (talk) 10:34, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nominator reasoning. CookieMonster755 (talk) 00:48, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom but an article has been created at the target since this discussion started so this is now a merge request (which I also support with a histmerge if called for). — AjaxSmack 02:24, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
- Support with exactly the same logic as above. Joseph2302 (talk) 02:27, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
