"Trivia Section"

Trivia is precisely the point of half of Family Guy humor. I move that the "Trivia is discouraged" flag be removed from the page. I wonder if a reformat (like, anything but a long list) would help? Nobody seems to notice that the premise of the episode is based on logical fallacy. They equate injury with death. Everybody who was hurt should be comatose on the brink of death, unable to die. Trisha Takanawa's report

In my copy of the episode, they don't say anything about the report being "live". Diane simply says "our own Asian Reporter Trisha Takanawa filed this report... all by herself!". A.R.T.T. then starts off with "I'm here with Peter Griffin, the man who claims he withstood a barrage of bullets...". There is no mention of it being live, and there is no Channel 5 watermark or titling on the report to suggest it is live.

Notability

I believe this article should either be redirected or expanded to explain more clearly how the episode is notable. We're already going through this with multiple American Dad articles, where I believe the consensus may be to redirect any articles where no sourcing is available for anything beyond basic information and reviews. If I remember correctly, there was a top-ten "best of" Family Guy collection aired on BBC3 presented by Robert Webb. This appeared on that list. Unfortunately, it was on last year or earlier, so I don't have a clue when. What I will say is this: Family Guy episodes tend to notch a lot more coverage than American Dad episodes. Thus, I say at least keep, if not expand. However, it might be worth sending it back to AfD to get a wider hearing.--Launchballer 18:50, 20 August 2014 (UTC)

A reliable source for the top ten airing would certainly be of benefit, and I'd consider that a good way to settle concerns. The American Dad question never went to AfD...it was settled here. Just because FG episodes get more coverage doesn't mean that an episode on an individual basis is inherently more notable than any other, IMO. I might recommend raising the question at one or more of the various projects this article is listed under (or directing them here to comment) rather than doing a formal AfD, just to establish a broad precedent rather than one specific to this article. But generally my feeling is that the precedent set with regards to AD seems equally well-suited in this case. DonIago (talk) 19:08, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
