Review of this book
[edit]I have the impression that the sources used in this book are too limited. Dollimore claims to describe the history of the western culture within the context of death, desire and loss. I haven't read the whole book yet, so i can't give a definite review.--Daanschr 14:49, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
- While reading further, i came to understand why the writier is limited in his description of the past. He is pre-occupied with postmodernism and not with pre-modern, medieval or ancient thought. Therefore, the entire article has to be changed. I tried to change this article, but a user reverted it. I am willing to negotiate further changes with him and others.--Daanschr 11:21, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
