As List of Deans of Arches? -- SECisek 19:32, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Identity with Master of the Faculties

[edit]

Lord Mackay of Clashfern (ed.) (1997) Halsbury's Laws of England, 4th ed. Vol.14, "Ecclesiastical Law", 1273 says this is so and cites Coke and Burn. However, the two lists clearly diverge before Dodson. Anybody have any ideas?Cutler (talk) 21:20, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John Kemp

[edit]

His article says he was appointed D of A in 1415. ODNB confirms this:

He became dean of the court of arches by 21 February 1414, which explains why he was no longer the examiner-general by June. He was said to be still dean in 1428, but this is impossible.

We have another name currently. Spicemix (talk) 23:25, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
